In addition to these services, we also offer personal care assistance tailored to meet individual needs.

Bathing, including bed baths, tub baths, or showering, is an essential part of personal care assistance. We also support shaving and shampooing, dressing, and oral/mouth care along with denture care. Our skilled nursing services include grooming and skin care, as well as perineum care and incontinence care. We provide assistance with bedpans, urinals, commodes, and bathroom visits. Transfers to and from wheelchairs or beds and ambulation support (assistance with walking) are also included in our services. Additionally, we help reposition bed-bound clients to prevent skin breakdown and assist with range-of-motion activities. Furthermore, we support clients in self-administering their medication and offer feeding and encouragement for fluid intake. Our home health care services include Aides who can stay with you while you are in the hospital. Aides providing personal care can also offer homemaking and companion services.

Conversation and companionship play a significant role in home health care services. Our personal care assistance includes accompanying individuals to appointments, meal preparation tailored to specific tastes and diets, and serving meals. Activities such as reading, playing games, and engaging in hobbies are also part of our offerings. We ensure that clients can visit friends or relatives, attend events, and enjoy outings. Our skilled nursing services handle errands, grocery shopping, and picking up prescriptions, providing incidental transportation as needed. Additionally, we assist with out-of-town travel, pet care, and plant care. Entertainment options like movies and attending church or other religious events are also included in our comprehensive home health care services.

Meal planning and meal preparation tailored to individual taste and diet needs are essential components of home health care. Cooking and serving nutritious meals, handling dishwashing, and taking out the garbage are all part of personal care assistance. Light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and cleaning the client’s bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and living room are also included in skilled nursing services. Additional tasks encompass cleaning the refrigerator, managing laundry and linens, ironing, making or changing beds, and helping with organization including cleaning closets and sorting photos. Grocery shopping and other shopping errands, picking up prescriptions, running errands, and providing incidental transportation are crucial aspects of support. The services extend to out-of-town travel assistance, pet care, and plant care, ensuring comprehensive care for clients.
Caring for a loved one is a commitment that places many demands on the individual providing the care. Sometimes, you just need a break. When that time comes, we offer respite care services, including home health care, so we can take over for you and give you the time you need to tend to your own needs. Our respite care can range from personal care assistance for a couple of hours a week to skilled nursing services for around the clock care, allowing you the freedom to enjoy a vacation. Whatever your need may be, we are here to help.
Sometimes a senior may be able to manage most of their needs but may not be safe to drive. We can refer care providers who will transport you or your loved one to various locations, such as Dr. appointments, hairdressers, grocery shopping, pet groomers, and even the airport. These care providers offer personal care assistance and can drive either the client’s car or their own. We verify that all care providers have auto insurance and run checks on their driving records.
Our sister company AATC, "Wheel Get You There," provides wheelchair and stretcher transportation services that complement our home health care offerings.
Transporting a loved one in a wheelchair can sometimes be a challenge, but our skilled nursing services can help! AATC offers quality non-emergency transportation specifically for individuals with limited mobility. Our wheelchair vans are equipped with an extra-wide ramp to accommodate both manual and electric wheelchairs. We provide door-to-door service with caring drivers who are CPR certified. All our drivers undergo a criminal background screening and driving history check. Passengers can accompany the person being transported, and we have plenty of room for bags, groceries, or personal belongings. If you or your loved one needs transportation to dialysis, physician appointments, airports, social outings, or dinners, call us to schedule a pickup! Providing advance notice will help us best accommodate you. We also offer stretcher transportation for those who cannot comfortably travel in a wheelchair, ensuring safe transit from the hospital, to dialysis, or to medical appointments in our stretcher van.
